Update: Off the Shoulder Bag

I finished both sides today :D
I wrote the pattern while crocheting the second panel, soooo I changed a few things and had to tear apart the first panel to make them match. . . yeay! So now I'm working on the strap :D

Haaaaaalppp (pretty please)

Dearest peoples,
If you happen to know a wonderful, talented person(or persons) with advanced skills in knitting, crochet, or both pleeeease (yep I'm begging) send them my way. Have them message me or my business page or have them email me. I am in desperate need of a few proofreaders and pattern testers. Any help is much appreciated.
Compensation is to be determined on a person-to-person basis.

Off the Shoulder (Crochet)

A cute little off the shoulder purse I'm working on that's about 1/4 completed at the moment. Second side, strap, and liner still need to be made. It'll be a crescent moon shape when it's completed. :3

Finished Simple Snood

The pretty red lace-weight snood, finished :)
If I get a chance sometime soon (and don't forget) I'll post my pattern and model pics!
Speaking of which, if you know anyone willing to model with awesome long hair and a pretty face, I need a model for my Etsy site and blog posts. Have them message me on Facebook:, modeling would likely be no - low pay and possibly in trade for handmade items (their preference) but any pictures are welcome to be used in their portfolio (I have photography experience with film and digital cameras).

My current fun break project happens to be snoods. In case you don't know (I didn't until a few short days ago. . ) snoods are a lacy beret hairnet-like hat currently popular among the pin-up crowd. This particular version of the snood came into being around the 1940s.
As I am still learning crochet, my versions are simple (for now ;) ).  We shall see what the future brings. . . follow my Etsy page for current info on for sale projects! :)

Baby Fever!!

For the last few days I've been working on some teeny-weeny baby accessories for my cousins who recently had little ones. Two similar crochet cocoon & hat sets in-progress.
Links to the yarn and pattern below :)

Pattern: Button-up Baby Cocoon and Hat Crochet pattern by Red Heart yarns (pattern webpage here)
(I changed the pattern a little bit to allow for snaps instead of buttons to make it easier on the parents)
